A special 2-hour documentary based on Familiar Evil. Lying King will air nationally on the Investigation Discovery (ID) Network, the premier true crime network, available in more than 86 million American households.
Rannah will speak with the members of the Central Library’s True Crime Book Club.

Case of the Missing Poodle, by Rannah Gray with Madelyn and Katherine Tom, will be honored with a Moonbeam Award for Best Children’s Mystery at the Moonbeam Awards Ceremony in Traverse City, Michigan. The awards ceremony will be held at Hotel Indigo.
Rannah Gray will speak on her new book, Case of the Missing Poodle, a Louisiana mystery for young readers. She will be joined by her co-authors Madelyn and Katherine Tom. Book signing in the Barnes and Noble tent immediately following.

Rannah will present a workshop with Leslie Todd, LCSW on “ Identifying Barriers to Reporting Child Sex Abuse — The Impact of Fear on Decisions to Act” as part of the state conference.
Rannah will be the speaker for the chapter meeting on the topic: “Know Your Place: The Undervalued Leadership Skills of Women that Can Help You Succeed”
She will highlight examples of leadership provided by women in the case behind the story of Familiar Evil.
This is a meeting for members of ABWA and their invited guests.
Rannah will present two workshops at the Krimes Against Kids Conference sponsored by the Florida Network of Children’s Advocacy Centers:
“Identifying and Overcoming Barriers to Reporting Child Sex Abuse: The Impact of Fear on Decisions to Act” — She will present this workshop with national pollster Dr. Jim Kitchens of The Kitchens Group in Orlando, FL, who worked with Rannah to conduct a national survey on barriers to reporting.
She will present the second workshop: “Power + Deception + Manipulation + Fear” Understanding How Child Abusers Gain and Maintain Control” with her sister, Dr. Abigail Gray Stonerock, to help gatekeepers identify the bases of power, challenges associated with detecting deception, and emotional and psychological triggers in decision-making.
The Rotary Club meets at the Clarion Hotel, 1500 Highway 30 in Gonzales. The program is for Rotary Club members and their invited guests.
Rannah will address Women in Communications at Galatoire's Bistro, 3535 Perkins Road in Baton Rouge.
Rannah will attend the London Book Fair to meet with book sellers and promote Familiar Evil, now available in paperback in the UK and displayed for buyers at the London Book Fair being held in Olympia London.
Rannah will present the results of the national survey conducted in partnership with Dr. Jim Kitchens and inspired by readers of Familiar Evil to determine barriers to reporting child sex abuse. The International Congress on Child Abuse is being held at the University of Warwick in Coventry, UK.
